DOCUMENTATION
Documentation is a very important aspect in international trade. We have dedicated staff in-house to provide our clients a complete solution for the preparations of various documents required for both Export and Import consignments.
CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
We undertake the job of Customs clearance of both Import & Export shipments to and from Nepal .
TRANSPORTATION
We offer our customers an extensive network of container haulage / trucking & land transportation service covering almost all of inland points worldwide. We also provide door to door service, pick up the cargo from the shipper's warehouse and arrange delivery at consignee's door with utmost care.
MULTI MODAL TRANSPORT
We provide an efficient multi modal transport service. The company with its affiliates and dedicated business alliances has registered Bill of Lading which is a negotiable document.
CONSOLIDATION (Buyers Consolidation)
We facilitate the consolidation of shipments. We take due care of any special instructions, loading and stuffing priorities and to effect the shipment within minimum possible time. We also provide warehousing and survey facility as per customer's needs.
OCEAN FREIGHT
We operate as both a NVOCC and Freight Forwarder providing services worldwide with any type of equipment handling. AIR FREIGHT
We provide Air freight services worldwide with flexibility of services at competitive price. AIR SEA FREIGHT
We handle air-sea shipments in order to have fast and timely shipments as per customers needs.
WAREHOUSING, DISTIBUTION AND WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
On customers need we can provide quality storage and handling with security control. We are able to provide a comprehensive range of services, ranging from receiving of goods, cargo consolidation, de-consolidation, pick and pack, inventory control to order assembly. We also offer our customers just-in-time local delivery and collection. So that our clients can reduce fixed overheads, increase efficiency, cut down valuable management time.
INSURANCE
We advise our customers the insurance coverage in response to their specific needs and arrange cargo insurance that insures our customers against physical loss or damage to cargo while in transit.
Documents
Export Procedure and Documents:
An Exporter or Custom Clearing Agent has to bring cargo with following documents for custom examination and clearance.
- Commercial Invoice.
- Packing List.
- Certificate of Origin from local Chamber of Commerce
- GSP Form ‘A' (if applicable).
- Certified copy of Letter of Credit or Advance Payment Certificate received from the bank.
- Foreign Exchange Declaration Form of Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal ).
- Customs Declaration Form.
- Customs Transit Declarations (only for sea cargo).
- Copy of Firm/Company Registration Certificate.
- Copy of Income Tax Registration Certificate or VAT Registration Certificate.
- Letter of Authority to clear the consignment.
- Visa authorization certificate from Garment visa office of National Productivity and Economic Development Centre for the export of garments to USA and Canada .
- Value certification from the Handicrafts Association of Nepal for handicrafts goods, Gold and silver products.
- Value added Tax Certificate for beer, spirits and cigarettes.
- Passbook for gold handicrafts from Handicrafts Association of Nepal if applicable.
- CITES Certificate from the Department of National Parks and Wild Life Conservation for the export of bone and horn products.
- Phytosanitary Certificate for agricultural products/plants.
- Certificate from Department of Archaeology for the export of statues, Thankas, Wood carving of archaeological value etc.
- Clearance certificate of Department of Drug Management for medicines.
- Clearance certificate of Department of Mines and Geology for mineral products .
- Transit declaration invoice for good in transit via India/Bangladesh for export from third country.
Import Procedure and Documents:
The registered Firm or Company is eligible to import the goods into Nepal except for prohibited and quantitatively restricted item. No license is required for imports. There is difference in procedure of Import from India than third country. For the import from India , the payment is made normally in Indian currency. However, payment in convertible foreign currency can also be made for the products specified as per notification of Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal ), this procedure is called Inbond. Import from India can be under DRP (Duty refundable procedure), Inbond and Local purchase system.
An Importer or Custom Clearing Agent has to approach customs with following documents for custom examination and clearance.
- Proforma Invoice.
- Commercial Invoice.
- Packing List.
- Certificate of origin (this is required only for tariff concession for goods originating in Tibet Autonomous Region of People's Republic of China , SAPTA member countries and MFN rate of countries having bilateral agreements with Nepal ).
- Certificate of Insurance Policy.
- Delivery Order issued by Airlines or consolidator (Air shipments only)
- Air way bill or Original Bill of Lading as applicable.
- Certified copy of Letter of Credit or Telegraphic Transfer Certificate issued by bank.
- Foreign Exchange Declaration Form of Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal ) issued by the bank.
- Inbond Form (Applicable for Import from India under Inbond Procedure)
- DRP Form (Applicable for Import from India under DRP Procedure)
- Customs Declaration Form.
- Customs Transit Declarations (only for sea cargo).
- Copy of Firm / Company Registration Certificate.
- Copy of Income Tax Registration Certificate or VAT Registration Certificate.
- Letter of Authority to clear the consignment.
- Import Permit of Plant Quarantine Section of Department of Agriculture for import of plants and plants products including fruits leaves & seeds.
- Transit declaration invoice for good in transit via India/Bangladesh for import from third country.
